Who We Are
The owner of Piper Construction Inc, Ed has nearly 40 years experience as a carpenter. He is particularly talented at understanding what people want & being able to put their ideas on paper. He helps customers visualize their ideas and then he materializes them. He helps them work with their budgets. He has a knack for diagnosing problems properly and recommending the correct fix (the first time). Although some customers are do-it-yourselfers, Ed thrives with the customer who wants Ed to "handle it." From dropping off books for their review (i.e. to get ideas), to drawing up the initial design, to pricing the job and then following through. Ed will make the remodeling process as easy as possible.
We provide a positive atmosphere on the job site as a result of the good character of the men we employ. We create a pleasant, open line of communication between customer, contractor and sub-contractors (when they are used). We do use sub-contractors, whom Ed has known and worked with over a long period of time. Only those of high confidence are sent to our customers' homes. I don't think we've ever had a complaint about a sub.
We do work on a time and materials basis if customers request it. Mostly we do work on contract. If we bid the work on contract, we guarantee the price. Of course, we spell things out in detail.
